My interests among other things are graphic and psychology. For that reason I have decided to merge my interests and specialise in User Interface Design (UID).
Because an important part of UID is psychology (e.g. apperception) and another is graphic design (e.g. interface design) Computer science is also important to make it possible to realise the concepts.

In my Diploma thesis I researched how the attention of the user can be affected by different Gestalt tools (e.g. colours, type, images). Futhermore I conducted a study with several people. .
For this study I created several HTML pages, which are differently designed. I wanted to study how the user react and which Gestalt tools are prefered/disliked.
